Morehead stamp and flower card......

Hello all,

Well, after 10 days of tonsillitis, enforced not eating - good for the old diet I might add ;-), I finally feel well enough to make a card - it must have been bad for me not to craft...... or eat!!!  lovely and quite for the old man though..... may have to make up for that.

I have had a play this morning with a Crafter's Companion Morehead stamp, I coloured with Spectrum Noir pens, HB1, HB2, HB3 for the hat and dress, with TB1 and TB3 for the accents, FS1, FS3, FS4, PP1 for the skin, and GB3, CT2, LY3 for the hair and IC3 and IC1 for the shoes.  The rose was coloured with DR5, DR6, DR7, and glittered.

I started with an 8x8 card blank, added silver miri card as a matt and layered centura pearl white card with the corners die cut.  I added a 4 inch wide piece of lace around the centre of the card, a doily and die cut the Morehead character I had stamped and coloured and placed in the centre of the doily.

I punched out various flowers and coloured with spectrum noir pens, focusing on HB1, HB3, LY3 as the main colours and add leaves and fern and added these to the left side of the card round the Morehead topper.  I die cut a fence and cut down and placed on the bottom left of the card as an accent, used pretty pink polka dot ribbon to make a bow and stuck a butterfly gem in the centre of the ribbon and cut out butterflies to add round the card.

In the middle of cold and damp weather I feel cheered up a little by this card.

Happy crafting
